THERE IS NO ELEVATOR TO SUCCESS. YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE STAIRS.
Education is a journey. It is not always easy but it is always worth it. As an educator, I am in it to help inspire and shape young minds. I believe that mistakes are opportunities for growth and that teaching students how to be resilient and respond positively to challenges helps them beyond the walls of a classroom. What can you expect in my class? An interactive learning environment fueled by mutal respect and creativity. I love what I do and whom I do it for . Together, I hope to help your children become great students and thoughtful people. Thanks for being a part of your child's learning - your support means the world to them (even though they might not be the first to tell you)!

So proud of Cole and his involvement in Strength through Diversity that occurred at the Department of Defense. It is wonderful to see young people being leaders in the community and participating and showcasing their abilities outside of the class. Way to go Cole!
A brown belt was also recently achieved by Rino ~ Congrats!
Other achievements, include Autumn whose hockey team placed second in a recent tournament and she was awarded "Player of the Game". Her medal was as heavy as it was beautiful! Way to go Autumn!!!

Taking the Lab Outside
Novemeber 23, 2015
Science is all around us... including the great outdoors. This week we took our learning outside. Sure, it was the first snowfall, but all the more reason to get out and discover abiotic and biotic things in our own school yard. Some biotic finds were trees, flowers, seagulls; abiotic finds included planes, play structures and St. Emily's. The students used MRS. GREN to help in their observations and identifications.

It is with great pleasure that I am able to share with you some amazing student achievement. This week, Phil took it upon himself to do some school yard clean up. He invited his peers to assist in picking up some trash that he had noticed around St. Emily's property. Phil demonstrated outstanding leadership and the Catholic value of being a Steward of Creation. Thanks for helping to make our future greener and cleaner Phil!
